If we win on Saturday we will be 2 games ahead of West Ham with 6 to play. After losing to their main rivals, they will find it too difficult to pick themselves up for their last six games, similarly, if we lose we will have the same problem.

If it's a draw, we will be one game ahead with six to play.

Ooooooh - I'm so excited!!!

Can Pompey still go bust before the end of the season?

What does that mean? If we win we would be 4 points ahead

Can we not turn this thread into a mongfest please... if snowball wants to put up his seven predictions, he will. If he doesn't, he won't and baiting him on it serves no purpose other than to drench the board in more drivel.

Stick em up if you haven;'t to put your money where your mouth is, and we'll come back to it when they're played and see who got closest.

Well said. Baiting for baiting's sake is utterly pointless.

Brighton (A) D 1-1
Saints (A) D 1-1
Forest (H) W 2-0
Palace (H) W 4-0
Brum (A) D 2-2

15 points will do me.
West Ham to implode and finish 5th :D

Not quite the close game I pictured, but the correct result nevertheless :D

WHU 2-1 W
Leeds 2-1 W
Brighton 1-1 D
Saints 1-2 L
N Forest 3-1 W
C Palace 1-0 W
Brum 1-1 D

Hm. I got the WHU result exactly right twice, both the first half and the second half.

I was worried sick about the away game at West Ham
but now that's over, here's what I think

We'll at least W2 D1 of our home games (I worry about Forest now)
and W1 D1 L1 away (at least) and finish on 87 Points or higher.

3-1 Leeds Home
2-1 Brighton Away
1-1 Southampton Away
1-1 Forest Home (They have found some form, but we might still beat them)
3-0 Palace Home
0-1 Birmingham Away

I'd most like the away win to be at Southampton, but for me it's random, WDL for the three games, any selection.

IF, we are going into the Birmingham game and it MATTERS (to us) (eg we need to win or draw to win the league) then we'll get the required result

Doesn't matter for going up - if your last three predictions are as good as your first three, Reading will get promted. :D
Would be nice to win though and get the title.

3-1 Leeds Home RESULT!
2-1 Brighton Away RESULT!

1-1 Southampton Away (This is tougher now with Karacan out and maybe no Elwood)

3-0 Palace Home
