Very grumpy West Hame Fan Also must thank the officials...how they allowed Reading to behave how they did was a joke. Then to book Tomkins after he moaned for the first time showed that they were not fair .

Lastly...what a total bunch of w@nkers everyone from manager down is at Reading FC. How did we lose twice to that cack team ??

Because, you twat, you have a shyte manager in charge of a shyte team with a shyte attitude and arrogant cry babies like you 'supporting' them. BTW, how many minutes before the end did you leave?

LOL for 35 minutes we didn't get any free-kicks and Roberts got booked for a nothing challenge. Can't debate the penalty in the slightest either. And Tomkins, well when you run 25 yards to shout at the assistant you might expect some reprimand

Everything in the programme was about getting "back where we belong" - good luck with that

Not quite sure how they can succeed in getting back to where they belong when they are already there!

While we're looking ahead and spraying to all fields in the West Ham match thread...

--Connolly will play no part for Leeds on Friday, he having picked up a second caution late on today against Watford

--who are charging hard toward the top six as the rest of the upper half of mid-table is defl8ing (Derby, Ipswich and Burnley closing in, with Posh, Forest and Coventry clawing their way toward safety)

This is looking like a particularly awful year to finish third --aboLOLish the play-offs at once!

on the plus side for whoever finishes third, none of those teams looking like coming down seem a great threat... then again, Charlton, Wednesday, Utd look fairly ominous in the division below.

FFS these guys are so bitter, GET OVER IT!!!

Romford" Coached sensibly ??

They were a bunch of time wasting cheats who didn't stop wingeing....

A disgrace of a club"

Have to agree with all that! Jason Roberts alone was a disgrace. They were also really winding our players up especially Faye. Who was that 13 year-old they stuck on for about ten minutes then got injured, Jay Tabbs.

I just spent a good 30 mins trawling through their match thread on KUMB. What a shower of bitter, bitter pricks. I hope they finish 7th.

Credit where credit is due, this I one of the best posts on an Internet football forum I've ever read.

From KUMB:

Embarrasing that many can't or won't give credit to Reading. You don't win 4-2 unless you've done something right.

Where's the grace on this thread? I thought we're West Ham, fans who can see the bigger picture of football and who appreciate that there are other clubs out there..

We have no divine right to success (not in my lifetime anyway!) but we are West Ham and results, never, NEVER control us.

Rise above it, accept defeat, applaud the victor (D. Tblisi anyone??) and move on.

It's all about the match day experience and the play offs will be a great laugh. I just hope I need 3 tickets, not 2...

"Sam Allardyce admitted West Ham only had themselves to blame after their promotion bid suffered a major blow with a 4-2 defeat by Reading.

The Hammers are now four points behind their opponents in second after throwing away the lead in astonishing fashion at the end of the first half at Upton Park."

So oxf*rd yet AGAIN, we are gifted a result!!! I am sick and tired of hearing opposition managers/players/fans/pundits CONSTANTLY whinge about how their team lost games against us, rather than us actually winning because we were the better team!

For oxf*rd's sake, when we DO actually finally play well, we are going to be oxf*rd UNPLAYABLE!!!!

And with Warnock coming to town next week we can expect more of the same if we win.
