namroyal Just in case anyone was in any doubt as to whether Hunt was onside.... here's the proof:

Thing is, his front foot is blocked in this picture and if that's past the last defender (which it looks like it could be) then it's offside as its a part of his body that can play the ball. Admittedly its difficult and its easier to go by the main body of the player

Royal Lady Only downside for me, was being showered with beer from the bell ends up stairs when we scored our 4th. I thought beer wasn't allowed in the stadium for a start.
it was to warm for beer

Officials have been told to give benefit of doubt to attackers - not that there would be any benefit of doubt needed from a bloody foot.

Sorry, I just realised you were joking! You reeled me in there! His foot would have to be longer than Krusty The Clown's (and invisible.)

Royal Lady Everyone stood. They are the worst seats I've ever had the misfortune to sit in, and that includes QPR and their non-existent leg room! £32 for that was diabolical.

crap seats indeed. glad we won at £32 a seat! As mentioned above west ham seats and view of the pitch is on par with QPR for being so poor, and i would add bristol city to that list!

I'll take that Onside position, with a side portion of fortuitous back-heel, followed by a scintillating dessert of a shot nestling in the back of Robert Green's net, please.

All these pictures prove absolutely nothing either way. Unless you/the camera are stood looking over the shoulder of the asst ref (linesman) and, assuming he is in line with the 2nd defender, then you can't really judge whether a player is offside or not.

Watching it 'live' on tv muy immediate reaction was to laugh because I thought we had got the benefit of a really dodgy decision. Having then watched the replays, my feeling is that Hunt wasn't offside but once again the camera wasn't in line with the lino and 2nd defender so couldn't state so conclusively.

And the concourse is only marginally better than QPR.
