melonhead sorry Wiz- i know you are in the -early relationship phase and everything, but if we are going up that day, you have to be there.
especially if the other option is a wedding of someone you dont know.
the missus needs to understand this.

I already told her I'll be with her, don't want her to be upset and go on her own, and she is more important than this football club to me anyway.

The Prisoner Number of teams to play with something left to play for:
Reading 5 (discounted - Palace. 4 promotion rivals, 1 relegation candidate)
Southampton 4 (discounted - Palace & Peterboro. 2 promo, 2 rele)
West Ham 4 (discounted - Barnsley & Leicester. 3 promo, 1 rele, tho Hull may be out of it, or Leicester might be back in by time they play)

Whilst this is interesting, I'm sure I remember reading somewhere that there's no evidence to suggest teams that have something to play for actually peform any better. In fact it often seems to be the case that teams who have nothing to play for are more difficult to play against as they have zero pressure on them. On that basis, I'm actually quite happy with our run in. Teams will be fearful of playing us now, particularly after Saturday's result.

Indeed. I was just chatting with a Brighton fan and he said "I'd rather play anyone other than Reading right now."
I would imagine that Southampton will be saying the same after their result at the weekend too.

southbank1871 'xactly, so combine that without the pressure of promotion or relegation and you have a potential banana skin.

So what this shows then is not one of any of the remaining games we have is easy. If we don't turn up in the right frame of mind, then we've had it!

Maguire
Nobody wants to play Reading at the moment - we're the best team in the league.
