Tokyo Sex Whale Betfair have us at 1.27 to get promoted so 1/3.

I wouldn't be betting at those odds!

2/1 to win the Champ - I'd probably have a look at it if it was 5/2

I posted 48 hours ago to say they were 6-1 and now's yer chance

..Southamptons run in may ok on paper but I guess we are assuming that Lambert will in fact be back for all / some of those remaining games.....they arent anywhere near as effective when hes not playing...not only for his goals but for his all round play...

Lambert being out would cost Southampton points ...just a case of whether the injury rumour is true ...bring him back too soon and he could be out for remainder of season.....

Games can be decided on a lucky deflection, mistake, rebound or soft refereeing decision so I really don't think who you play at this stage makes a big difference.

All we can do is enjoy the ride and take the highs with the lows.

...and then there is Jem. We seem to have forgotten he went off injured. One of the players I really don't want missing from action.

Good point on Jem (and Tabby)

The defeat at Peterboro was soon after he was hurt at Barnsley
and said he'd play through the pain barrier...

Just as well we got Hayden Mullins in...

Would it not be BRILLIANT to see Bryn get some playing time
and score the winner?

southbank1871 Did anyone bet on us winning the league at the start of the season? What odds were we?

14s at one point with Betfair. West Ham were about 3s from memory. Saints would have been 25-30s. BHA were most people's outside tips at about the same as us.

Done the predictor.

I have the following with one game to go.

1 Reading 45 27 86
2 West Ham 45 28 85
3 Shampton 45 35 84

But with Brum safe in the play-offs.

Bum's don't get squeakier....Birmingham 2012 might feel a lot like Birmingham 2009. BUT...this time, we're going to feel a whole lot more positive.

Love it. How am I going to get any work done for the next 4 weeks?

Decided prolly not gonna bother with Leeds and Forest as well. Save my pennies, and spend some decent time with the girlfriend rather than disappear off to football all the time. See you all at Crystal Palace.

Good win for Brum last night.

We could do with them safely in a play off berth when we visit.

Whilst the outlandish concept that they could crash the top 2 is a very pleasing motivator for their next away game. Can't quite remember who that is against?

The chances of that are very slim. However they can secure 4th place which would give them home advantage in the playoffs

It's not inconceivable that West Ham slip up against Barnsley and face Brum Monday battling to stay in third.

West Hams last 7 results are W 1 L 1 D 5. Are they really going to suddenly start winning games? Yes we have on paper a tough run in but I feel West Hams is not far behind, especially having to play Brum, Hull and Brighton at home. The way we are playing and the confidence which must be running through the team I feel it is ours to loose. By the end of next weekend I think we will have a very good idea about how the season will finish.

Wizard
melonhead sorry Wiz- i know you are in the -early relationship phase and everything, but if we are going up that day, you have to be there.
especially if the other option is a wedding of someone you dont know.

the missus needs to understand this.

 I already told her I'll be with her, don't want her to be upset and go on her own, and she is more important than this football club to me anyway.

what a ridiculous thing to say.
