The best tip my brother (a bookie) ever gave me was to never back a team at odds-on away from home.
Apart from the fact that you don't win much it's amazing how many of them don't come up.

Depends what you look for in a bet. Me personally I like teams that are overpriced and often go for them wth a bit of value.

It's all about the value, not about who you think will win.

I generally don't back teams away from home anyway but the odds on the big teams when playing away are usually shit (ie. I agree with Vic's brother's advice)
