SPECULATION - Paul Taylor and George Boyd......

by A1ndy » 03 Apr 2012 09:57

Two players who will be on the transfer list in the summer.

Should these be two players we should be having a close look at?

I liked the look of them in both games against us this season.

Taylor was brilliant against us but you need to take a look at his wiki entry.

always thought Boyd was a good player, just lacks a bit of pace and didn't really cut it at Middlesborough. Club will probably want over a mill for him though, therefore i'm out

13 goals in 18 Belgian 5th Division games to me suggests he could make the step up to the Premier League. Sounds like he'd fit into the town well too.

He has been good this season, and I don't see why McDermott can't keep Taylor on the straight and narrow.

It depends on which Division we are playing in next season.

If we are still in the Championship and Boyd would be of definate interest, Taylor less so (unless Kebe were to leave).

If we get to the Premier League then neither would be of interest.

Wrong Boyd.

I'd gladly take both players. They'd complement the squad very well.

If we sign these two we'll have the disappoinment of losing in the play-offs to contend with

I like Grant McCann of Peterbourgh.

A hardworking midfielder with a great delivery from corners.

Forest

Bit harsh to say he didn't cut it at Forest considering he was there for such a short period of time. Unless you also got confused with Kris Boyd, who was excellent for Forest.
