Surely it must've been the Brown challenge that did the main damage.

McDermott in his post match interview on Radio Berks said Karacan was off for a scan.

If it's broken it definitely will be.

it wont be a break - the way Brown caught him, it looks more ligaments

Surely that would be an x-ray not a scan?? Although I'm not a doctor!

I think it'll be a twist or something similar, boot on his ankle (on sky), lucky it's not his knee I say!

I hope for Karacan sake that the broken leg comments on the board are only speculation.

An x-ray is a scan (just a specific type of scan), and neither am I.

sounds very long-winded I know - my mate who Jem used to lodge with when an academy player got a text from him earlier saying it was a break.

As the ref took no action at the time, the club should ask the FA to look at Brown's challenges. The way he wraps both legs around the legs of an opponent in a scissors action as he tackles is almost guaranteed to lead to serious injury.

GUILTY!

Also Guilty

Had dismal Drysdale followed the guidance all refs have been given and taken action against Brown for his scissors challenge through the back of Legs (incredibly the incompetent fool didn't even adjudge it to be a foul) then Brown might have been less inclined to commit his scissors assault on Jem

X-ray is a picture; scanning is more of a systematic look with a CAT scanner. That's what it is in my mind anyway. I had a scan when I did my ACL. I also had an x-ray. X-ray showed nothing but bones and scan showed the ligaments etc.

Either which way he'll probably have both and it sounds bad if the rumours are true!
