That would be fantastic obviously, but why are the players saying how sorry they are about the injury, and Roberts saying Jem will be the players inspiration for the rest of the season

Nothing still confirmed but a few people all heard the same rumour of a possible break/fracture

It's possible Pugh could have caused a minor fracture and some pain medication allowed him to carry on with no one realising how bad it was, with Brown doing enough other damage as well to force him off later.

To console ourselves there is the hope that one day these animals will come a cropper as a result of their dirty play. Roy Keane and Gazza both spent prolonged periods on the physio table following incidents where they set about to injure other players. Also Chris Riggott has barely played since our first Premiership match where he assaulted Kitson. Let's just hope the same happens to Brown and Pugh.

Until the results of the scan and/or X Ray the club will not confirm the extent of the injury so all speculation at the moment. When the extent if the injury is known, the club will probably not make it officially known until Monday.

One thing is for sure, from the interview with BMC there is more concern than usual and it does not appear just a sinmple knock so they are probably expecting the worse. When I was wating the game on the TV and saw the challenge, my first thought was broken leg though. If it is a broken leg, then it certainly wasn't a compound fracture so even though Jem may miss the rest of the season, he will be back for the start of next.

Regardless of this, totally unacceptable conduct fromt he Leeds players.
