kings of the LOLZ this season

by LUX » 08 Apr 2012 19:57

Pompey and Rangers (my personal favourite) in with a shout, but not Premier league. Chelsea might not even finish top 5, ffs. Liverpool have lived up to the LOL in their name (but won twice at Chelsea, to the general pleasure of everyone). But Man City have surely stolen the crown. What a fcking mess. Pathetic in Europe too ( lolz at United too there).

Well done City, worthy champions in a competitive season.

No mention of ArsenaLOL? They have the top scorer in the league and possibly the best out and out striker in Europe but they've gone yet another year without silverware.

Witness their fall from grace today when they greeted beating Man City (and therefore almost guaranteeing the title for a club who were their big domestic rivals 10 years ago) as if they'd ended their seven year trophy drought.

Arsenal can cock a snook at Citeh...how much have they spent in their recent quest for the Premiership?

Citeh had last season to form their major offensive on this years title...despite the money and status, this season they have failed....

The ultimate egg on the face is playing Tevez in that very same team that he would "never" play for again.

Not saying they should beat Citeh for the "Kings of LOLZ" but they should have an nomination.

Leicester City deserve a mention while we're at it.

Individual LOLz for this weekend must surely be on Mancini for leaving Ballotelli on despite mistimed challenge after mistimed challenge. I'm amazed he stayed on the pitch that long, even with the first red worthy challenge not being spotted.

and a special mention for Luton Town....sacking their manager whilst sat in the play-off mix with just a half dozen games to go. Pathetic at any level

QPR Buying a load of overpriced overated big time charlies on 60-80 grand a week, just to be involved in a relegation battle. While Norwich and Swansea spend oxf*rd all and are safe in mid table.

Ipswich: signed Ingimarsson and Sonko shortly after we decided we didn't want them (did Jewell really think he knew better than McDermott?). Signed bad boys Bowyer, Chopra, and Bullard and expected team spirit to be OK. Yeah, right. Jewell sent Jaime Peters out on loan and then moaned about lack of defensive options--judge of a player, not. (EmanuLOL-Thomas, anyone?) He could benefit by a look at how McDermott does things. That club chuck money at the team and go nowhere. Feel a bit sorry for them, as they are a decent club.

A special mention for Forest in exchanging Davies, who got them to the playoffs, for McLaren, whom they then treated the same way they'd treated Davies.

Special Lolz @ Colin, another red card today, this time Brown finally getting what he should have got on Friday.
on top of getting sacked so soon after getting promoted,
then losing 7 at home to a relegation struggler.

Spurs' ritual end of season collapse doesn't get any less funny as the seasons tumble by.

5 wins in a row for Newcastle, I guess Pardew is having a big old LOLZ at everyone at the moment.

And no release clauses in players contracts in the event of relegation

He probably wont. He's looking at a possible 9 game ban!

1 for red + 2 for 3rd red of season (LFC, TH (Parker)). 3 for violent conduct (Song) +3 for 4th red of season
