Stuka Should anybody fancy sneaking into home end with me I'd be up for that if I can't get a ticket with you lot.

I will be getting tickets for me and my son in the Gil Merrick lower tier tomorrow, hone part. We don't have enough points for our section and can't see it going to general sale. There will be netting between but if hopefully there is something to celebrate we will loiter until the home fans clear off and join the other marooned RFC in this section for the party!

That is a good idea, if I end up going and can't source ticket in away end I'll do it.

I'd wait and see how many RFC sell in the first few days of sale. I still think they'll make general sale.

Not sure whether anyone will know this - I've been asked to sort out tickets for our group.
One will qualify Wednesday (2100 points), one Thursday (1900) and one Friday (1200) - given that it's allocated seating and we'll want to sit together, do I have to wait until Friday and buy all the tickets then, or can the 2100 point holder buy on behalf of the others on Wednesday?

Would kind of defeat the purpose of having the point system.

LOLz

Ian Royal Be seriously peeved if the promotion bandwagon jumpers steal my ticket. I've not got a huge number of points, but I've been to 5 out of the last 6 final away days.

i worked in brum alot over the past 2 years and remember to ask for the following ticket, provided you return same day

Birmingham to Banbury return
Banbury to Brum New Street return

same train as direct and you DONT need to get off at Banbury - unless you are stupid

Its about 3 months since ive used that route so tkts maybe a little more but i paid £34.60 return at peak time, whereas a direct ticket was an outrageous £82 (approx - with the only benefit of being able to return at any time within a month - BUT you could by two singles using the above and it would still be cheaper anyway!)

Never ask for a ticket direct to Brum New Street - as all the scum train operators do, theyll sell you the most expensive ticket (i keep lobbying the ombudsman and government to sort this disgraceful behaviour out as its a joke, alas im a small voice amongst scum)

That's all very good, if you live in Birmingham and you want to go for a drink in Banbury, twice, before the game
