Happy with that. Would we have been happy with a point before the match? Absolutely yes.

Begrudging respect to the Hammers fans, they really got behind the team in the second half.

Kitsondinho Does Don Goodman know what a draw is? If we draw on Friday, niether of us have dropped points.

I don't think you entirely understand the concept of 'dropping points'.

You reckon dropping 2 points at home is a "good result" do you?

No more pressure on us for tomorrow then there was before 3pm today.

If we lose tomorrow then we will be three points clear with the same number of games played. We will then need to go into the Saints game knowing that defeat would probably result in us slipping out of the top two on the Saturday.

If however we get something tomorrow...........

Put simply I feel that we need to get a point against either Brighton or Saints and then win our two home games and we will most certainly be up. Easier said than done though. Four points from Brighton & Saints and one home win against Palace and I reckon that should just about do it. Just...

I thought Brum looked leggy in the 2nd half - that was their 56th game of the season - so by the time we play them last game of the season, they will be secure in the play-offs and will inevitably rest players for their game against us.

As I said, 10 points needed from 5 games - 3 wins and a draw will be enough, and thats if West Ham win their last 4 games of course!!

Yes I do.....Look at the table...If we draw with Saints, we will be one point further ahead of WHU BEFORE they play again.....therefore we will have gained a point ahead of them..... This is important because if we get 4 points out of our next 2 games, we will be SEVEN points clear of WHU. Even if we lose to BHA and draw with Saints, we will STILL be above WHU by FOUR points before they play again.....So how is that points dropped? Our goal is currently to get more POINTS than WHU isn't it?

Not in the context of being IN FRONT of WHU....who need to BEAT OUR/SAINTS points total!!

Any other result than a win is dropping points as you're not picking up the maximum of 3.

Birmingham showing how not to play out a 2 goal lead, completely dominated in the air were never gonna hold on. Is Zigic the slowest footballer ever? Not a bad result though. Point tomorrow and think we are still in good shape

Point tomorrow and we're in the same place, but with less games to go - I'll settle for that.

So that's Brum virtually out of the hunt for automatic (not that they were on the doorstep going in or that they would have been with a win, mind) and more or less left to consolidate their position amongst the top six and then downshift preparatory to the play-offs

Which may prove well handy in our camp come the final day if they get it done before then (as they should) and we need some kind of result (although we really shouldn't)
