Snowball W5 D1 L1 would be a VERY nice finish.

I hope you're right. Wish I felt as confident.

Odd that....

What does THAT mean? I predicted "at least" W3 D2 L1 for the last six and 1-1 at WHU

So that's me predicting "at least" W3 D3 L1 (12 points from 7 games)

but said more than once that this was against current form because I was starting to bottle it.

LOL. "Starting to bottle it" doesn't even begin to cover your paranoid posts on the Brighton prediction thread.

Where's the paranoia? Here is everything I said in that thread.

First Post (FACTS)

Brighton are very decent at home.

Last Six

HOME

H 1-0 Leicester
H 2-2 Millwall
H 3-0 Ipswich
H 2-0 Portsmouth
H 2-0 Derby
H 1-1 Middlesbrough

P6 W4 D2 11-3

=============

Second Post (FACTS)

Hope he's right.

Over the weekend I felt we were promoted, now I feel worried. (Simple Fact)

The next 3-4 days defines our season. (Basic, IMO)

I feel so bad about tonight's game I'll be VERY happy if we get a draw. (Hardly the voice of doom)

If we match West Ham it's down to four games and four points, so that would do me. POSITIVE

On all form we should get a draw or win, but this is like the POs now, all or nothing FACT, as I saw it.

===================

Third Post (FACTS)

This was in response to SOMEONE ELSE saying "disaster" and an ongoing debate.

It is not me PREDICTING a disaster, just explaining WHY a defeat (if it had happened)
COULD HAVE BEEN a disaster. A defeat (I predicted a win in "Next Six Games" but obviously
before our injury "crisis", but a defeat would have meant we then needed something at St Mary's

A 2-0 or 3-0 loss tonight could easily be (become) a disaster

Table NOW

1 42 15 4 2 44 15 09 6 6 32 25 +36 82 Southampton
2 41 13 4 4 33 16 11 3 6 29 20 +26 79 Reading
3 42 09 8 4 33 25 12 5 4 37 20 +25 76 West Ham

Table if we Lose 3-0 to Brighton

Lose 3-0 and it's close to LOSING a point, as we drop behind WHU on GD

1 42 15 4 2 44 15 09 6 6 32 25 +36 82 Southampton
2 42 13 4 4 33 16 11 3 7 29 20 +23 79 Reading
3 42 09 8 4 33 25 12 5 4 37 20 +25 76 West Ham

Table if we then lose 2-0 to Southampton

To lose at Saints would hardly be a surprise. a 2-0 defeat there while WHU beat Brighton 2-0 (who don't travel well..)

1 43 15 4 2 44 15 09 6 6 32 25 +36 82 Southampton
2 43 09 8 4 33 25 12 5 4 37 20 +27 79 West Ham
3 43 13 4 4 33 16 11 3 8 29 20 +21 79 Reading

and if that happens, I think West Ham won't slip up. We would need to win our two
home games by a few goals AND (probably) have to win away to Birmingham.

I think it's absolutely vital we get at least a point from these two games
and if we do lose a game, we don't lose by more than 2 goals

================

Fourth Post (FACTS)

Exactly

6 Points from these would be Heaven (Is that paranoid?)
4 Points from these, especially if we win at Saints, ditto. (Is that paranoid?)
3 points will probably guarantee us automatic (but make it harder to win the league (Is that paranoid?)
2 points will be good, but only for second, and we will need to be very careful (Is that paranoid?)

But one point is, IMO, ESSENTIAL, otherwise it's the POs. Not paranoia, simple common-sense

The fact that you put all those stats down basically trying indicate how difficult a game it would be, on a thread that is simply about predicting a result is more than a bit paranoid yes.

The fact that you've seen fit to copy and paste every post from the same thread onto here as a reply would suggest you've gone into something of a meltdown.

Relax man ffs. You'll give yourself a heart attack.

I'm fine, thanks, Vish. It's just obvious you don't know what paranoia is.

Racing possibilities and working my worry-beads ain't paranoia.

Well, I predicted 12 points from the last seven on this thread, which I thought would be enough and was fairly pessimistic. Nice to see We've got 9 of those 12 out of the first three games.

Snowball I

We'll at least W2 D1 of our home games (I worry about Forest now)
and W1 D1 L1 away (at least) and finish on 87 Points or higher.

I thought we'd draw at WHU WIN

3-1 Leeds Home WIN
2-1 Brighton Away WIN
1-1 Southampton Away WIN

1-1 Forest Home (They have found some form, but we might still beat them)
3-0 Palace Home
0-1 Birmingham Away (Unless we need a result)

I'd most like the away win to be at Southampton, but for me it's random, WDL for the three games, any selection. (Sounds like Maguire)

IF, we are going into the Birmingham game and it MATTERS (to us) (eg we need to win or draw to win the league) then we'll get the required result

More chance of a win now, v Forest, pressure's off

Mate, WHEN I MADE THE PREDICTIONS, I thought pressure might have an effect,

NOW, the pressure is off.

It's true that we got some great results at West Ham, Saints, Brighton and home to Leeds
but let's remember we could have lost them all...

We robbed Brighton, were under the cosh at WHU for 30-40 minutes
and if they had scored a second we'd've been lucky to lose 3-0.

Saints were good, and that was actually our best game, but let's not pretend ,
everything is landing perfectly for us ATM

I'm not interested in your predictions I'm talking about your rather daft statement about the pressure being off (debateable anyway) making it more likely we'll win against Forest when we've just won 4 high pressure games against higher placed opposition.

It's a pretty dopey thing to say.

3-1 Leeds Home RESULT!
2-1 Brighton Away RESULT!

1-1 Southampton Away
1-1 Forest Home (They have found some form, but we might still beat them)
3-0 Palace Home
0-1 Birmingham Away

W2 D1 Home
W2 L1 Away

Finish on 89 Points. That'll do me.
