Both really good games though tbf. Looking forward to somebody recreating Bielsa's tactics in a league format sometime soon :?

Disgrace really, as their stadium always looks half empty.

Nice one, you can't beat old school pics.

LOL @ the fans stood on the roof of Old Trafford in the 2nd division champions pic in 1975. Must have got the l8r train from Surrey...

Mr Angry At the start of the season, there were those saying the De Gea looked a bit dodgy, and the usual Fergie apologists came on and said no, he was going to be brilliant......frankly, he has had half a season and looks like a skinny Simon Sheppard; his inability to deal with a basic high ball into the box isn't something that he is going to correct any day soon (he should be shown the video of our game yesterday as both Feds and the Ipswich keeper could teach him how to catch a high ball) and having a dodgy keeper is a disaster for a top 4 club (look at Arsenal since Lehman left).

And that is down - not to the Glazers (another knee jerk response by Fergie apologists whenever United lose) but to Fergie himself; why didn't he try and get the German keeper now at Bayern Munich?

Schards#2 Man Utd 1-6 Man City

Basle 2-1 Man Utd

Man Utd 2-3 Blackburn

Three of the most desperate results in Ferguson's entire reign, all within a month or so of each other.

Worrying times I would imagine.

Should Mancini be sacked? Spent all that money to beat Stoke in a cup final, utterly stacked the league.

Outclassed by Wigan tonight while Tevez inspires City to a 4-0 romp. NOT over yet.

United must have chosen to lose to Wigan.

They do what they want, right ?

Shocking decisions in that game last night for both teams.

Incidentally, I'm really impressed with Fergie's post-match interviews; gives credit to the opposition, is honest in his own teams failings, never has a go - publically - at any of his players.... compare and contrast to Wenger, Dalgleish, Hughes or Mancini.

I would say it probably still is, even if United lose the derby they should have enough to get them across the line, might not be until the final sunday though

Fergie is the worst offender for having a go at refs, completely lost his rag when the press suggested his team was struggling in Europe...

It's easy to be magananimous when you're about to stroll your way to the title.

You can't seriously be satisfied with the state of your squad? A better manager and a further investment and City will be in a league of their own.

Worst United team since the prem begun. I reckon United will crack. City looked the team they were at the start of the season last night with Silva back to his best and Mad Mario out of the way.

Put your money on Tevez scoring the winner in the manc derby, it will happen.
