Ark Royal I continue to be astonished by this group of players and the self-belief that Brian has instilled into them; or maybe I should say that they done it so often, that I should not be in the least surprised when they pull off results like this.

Couple of things:

1 - Our goals were better than their single goal. Our first two were well-worked and wonderful. Lambert's wouldn't have been had it not been for Gorkss defeflection. Look at the replay - it would've gone straight into Fedder's hands.

2 - What exercise regimine do our physios use? While it was obvious that our gameplan was to let them run the ball around and we would take what they gave us (or could make on our own on the break), SOTON looked absolutely haggard by the 80th minute.

ok three things:

3 - ALF - amazing nose for goal. Buh bye Churchie!

Mr Angry We will make a couple of chances this half; just have to make sure they count.

And ALF did!

Whore Jackie
Mr Angry Superb management by Brian; when many would have expected a team away from home to bring on a defensive minded player to protect the point, Brian brings on a striker who goes and scores 2 goals to win the 3 points.

Brilliant.

Are you watching Allardyce?? Thats what WE think of the point; we don't respect it - we kick it in the bollox and take the 3 instead.

Lovely stuff Mr A

Disgusting the amount of crap he takes.

LOL at crowbarring a Church insult in. Need a goal, we bring on Alf. Got a lead to protect, on comes Church. That policy seems to have panned out ok thus far.

And you could see how absolutely delighted Churchie was at the end, absolutely beaming and hugging ALF.

What a first season Le Fondre has had as a Reading player. Top scorer, long periods out of the team - now without a start in something like 17 games, but his ability has been a massive part of our success.

Never in the field of human conflict have so many (the No 13's) owed so much to so few (Macca, JR and ALF).

Simply phenomenal. I could barely watch, and then Alfie pops up with that clinical finish. Awesome.

Now come on Brighton, do us a favour!
