So a Swansea team who have enjoyed a successful first ever season in the Prem on the back of promotion are more together than a failing Hoffenheim side of foreigners and a Reading side doomed to relegation for the majority of the season with players like long, gunnarsson, karacan and mills not getting a look in, shocker

Exactly.

His experience with Swansea's first team>>>>>His experience with Reading's first team

He's not exactly gonna turn round and say "to be honest, the lads here are a bit shit and i don't get on with any of them"

Anyway, he also said (about Reading)

“I’m happy here and playing every week so I think it would be a good idea to stay here for another two seasons. I’ll just turn my phone off and enjoy the summer now. I've finally got myself into the team, I wouldn't want to be anywhere else and not play or just sit on the bench. I want to play every Saturday and Reading is the right place for me to do that."

I'm still convinced he will go to a top 6 club, but I heard today that he is a player we are monitoring. That doesn't mean anything, because we monitor a lot of players, but if it's do-able, we want to do it!

Aston Villa and Newcastle are also very keen.

People are putting too little emphizes on Gylfis connection to Reading. He has said himself he is Reading through and through and if the opportunity arouse he will jump at the chance at a return. And with Premiership status achieved all that is needed is to pick up the phone. Also Brian and Gylfis dad are very much good friends nowadays. I have heard that Brian will join him for a few days for some salmon fishing at expensive Icelandic river this summer. I also heard that Gylfi will be there at some point. Thrash out a a contract there I say :D
