He does do an irritating slow motion fist pump, but I guess he's an ice cool Russian.

It was worrying that they are already talking about transfer targets that he's identified, not exactly hands off! I also hope the current crop get a shot after getting us there, Ledge and Gorkkss have been stars and got dumped by the QPR investors last year after getting promoted.

He also said we've been scouting for two to three weeks. I'd say it's the club that's identified the targets, not Anton... though I'm sure we'd listen respectfully and check out anyone he suggested of course.

When Anton says the stadium will be expanded, where exactly will the extra seats be placed? Just wondering.

Green Park. They're going to put a small screen up so you can watch the game from a live feed.

LOL at that report!

"Reading's takeover hasn't been completed so there may be something suspect going on"

In this instance the PL request a copy of everything the FL have investigated and then do some more on top. It doesn't sound like we're any further away that we were at the beginning of the week, only that now it's the PL that want to make sure this is airtight and not another Portsmouth. Either way it's good for RFC!

Hopefully in the next few weeks it'll all be done and we can just look forward to a busy summer!!

They plan to reduce the width of existing seats and decrease the amount of room between rows.

In view of the above statement and as we are now in the Premier League the club is offering all season ticket holders a discounted membership here....

Premier League corporate investigators are conducting inquiries into Russian tycoon Anton Zingarevich's takeover of Reading, who have just secured promotion from the Championship.

Just knew something like this would come out, just because it wasnt over the line

FACT - Southampton's seats are narrower than ours and many of the Championship clubs seats, so that is something I would actually consider. We wont do it of course but it's a simple expansion of perhaps 1000 seats.

But of course they'll look into it. They have to. The FL is no longer enough as we're a Premier League club again next season. If TSI backers have nothing to hide then all will be well. It's to protect us at the end of the day.

PLease God don't expand the stadium until we've been in the prem for a few years (i.e. never!). I really couldn't stomach 14,000 fans in a midtable championship clash, sat in a 36,000 seat stadium

Plus it will take ~20 years to pay off the expansion with the increased revenue, so what the f*cking point?
