I was pre-occupied with a Spanish bird in to watch Real Madrid, the competitive chanting was top class
I just remembered about this scarf I bought in 2006 and have fished it out the back of my wardrobe.

Incredibly, incredibly quiet on here given what has been achieved. Do people think they are dreaming it and will shortly wake up to harsh reality (understandable) or are they sleeping off massive hangovers?!

Well just posting to say "I'm happy too", seems a bit naff, frankly

i hope the cup will be paraded on the bus next Sunday. it really should be presented at Birmingham next week.
Been confirmed by BBCRB that the trophy will be presented at the Mad Stad on the 29th.

That really is naff (even though I can understand the logistical challenges).
Yesterday, in the slight depression immediately after the Palace game, we were saying it really wouldn't be the same if we didn't win the Championship and the players weren't able to show it off on the open top bus. They've now won it and still won't be able to show it off on the parade.
Maybe they should stick it on display on a separate vehicle leading the parade and then officially present it at the Mad Stad?

Being one of the very few Reading supporters where I am, I'm currently loving the respect and congratulations I'm getting from my uni mates who all support different teams. They all seem happy to see us in the Prem, not least because of the increased banter I now get to share . The only person who doesn't seem that happy supports Birmingham, so I'm hoping they go up too. Can't wait for next season tbh, if we manage anything like Swansea or Norwich did this season, I'd be delighted.
