Now we have won the league presumably it wont be our game at Brum as the BBC and Sky both have a game and surely they will want a game with something on it, and this will be dependent on Mondays game as to whether they show the Saints and WHU games or the Cardiff and 'Boro games. However, someone on a Saints website said that for the past 3 years the BBC have shown the champions on the last day, which means it might be us . Which then got me thinking, the BBC will have shown 30 live championship games in the last 3 years have we ever been one of them?

Auntie has her own agenda which is more likely to include sumo wrestling live in Salford than a success story from the Tory heartlands. Having found excuses not to broadcast any of our matches in recent times they won't have to work hard to justify our continued absence on this occasion.

Frankly, we are the Champions and their lack of interest is their loss not ours........................MOTD will be the last resort for me next season when it comes highlights.

Ok, they started with Legs' goal to win us promotion, but I would have thought the natural narrative would have been to show our game v Palace first, which would lead to the Saints game, their loss and then the fact that meant we were Champions.

Instead, they first went into the Saints game (with the classic line about "West Ham have a real chance now of getting 2nd!!" ), followed by our goals and Roberts' red card, and the merest of nods in our direction as to us winning the Championship; as Manish put "I suppose you have to say well done to Reading....."

Good riddance to a crap programme.

Actually it was the Saints game, followed by Bristol City v Barnsley then the goals from our game, followed by Manish trying to kiss our arse but remain "unbiased" but Clarriage playing it down and saying "they had great momentum" then on to the next set of games.

The fact is, Sky get first choice and probably took the only games worth showing - there are 23 other teams in this division, how many of those got screened live on BBC?

Also, where else will you watch highlights, other than on MOTD? - cos unless you stay up until 4am, watching them all on sky will be a tad boring.

Still is better than no FL coverage at all, but Claridge and Bhasin aren't given any time to make proper comment! Perhaps the should copy Mondays late kick off and just regionalise it.

I'm gonna boycott it next year... Although I remember our 2nd season in the prem we were generally in the Wigan slot at the end if MOTD...

Better still they should divide it into 72 programmes then everyone's happy! It's not perfect (it'll never be so as the BBC doesn't have much money), but it's still way better than the ad infested crap we got from ITV.
