What a complete and utter joke that selection was. Also strange that so many of his fellow professionals voted for Harte who, from what I've seen, often doesn't seem slow in trying to get them into trouble with refs.

Anyway, our team of the year has the last laugh. They have real medals of value. With the exception of Harte, those in the joke PFA team don't.

And the only team Ched Evans warrants being in is the same one as Marlon King and Lee Hughes - Jailbirds United.

If the vote was soo after the Leeds game, you can understand the vote for Davies - he really was out of this world that night.

Seal Team > Individuals

True, we proved last time we went up - problem is we played one way and as soon as one or two key players left our squad quality was exposed

You mean there is more than one of him??!!

Actually my vote goes to Tony Fernandes for sacking Colin and hopefully sending QPR back down! Two birds, one stone!

How does Tompkins and Davies come ahead of Alex Pearce? I assume this vote was polled a month plus ago?

Decided in March

Ched Evans is in the League 1 team

That made me smile... Apparently league one representative games will be played behind close doors at a HMP near you...!!

soggy biscuit Interesting interview with the Motherwell captain on talksport about how player of the season voting is done, how many don't take part, how many openly vote for their mates, openly don't vote for teams they don't like etc. he was suggesting it really doesn't have much value at all

(assuming it is the same here)

Does that mean we have a team with no mates and no one likes us... Have we become Millwall?

Top Tip for the PFA...name your team of the season at the end of it, not the middle, that way you can actually name some Reading players and also avoid the embarrassment of naming a rapist in your league 1 team.

Personally I couldn't give a flyings rats piss how many of our players got into the team and whether there was any injustice. All that's important is we are up and champions to boot. I am sure the players listed other than Harte would gladly change places with us

The Mail have done a "what if they had voted at the end of April" piece:

That's a much better team. I would however have Pearce ahead of Gorkss.

And I'd have Karacan instead of Leigertwood as well, but at least they tried. I didn't think the Mail covered sport.
