I'd like to think that if the BBC decide to show our game they will push to have the trophy presented at St Andrew's, neither will happen but I can dream.

LUX
Woodcote Royal Auntie has her own agenda which is more likely to include sumo wrestling live in Salford than a success story from the Tory heartlands. Having found excuses not to broadcast any of our matches in recent times they won't have to work hard to justify our continued absence on this occasion.

Frankly, we are the Champions and their lack of interest is their loss not ours........................MOTD will be the last resort for me next season when it comes highlights.

and do you know what, I really think you believe this.

At least Mr Angry's fantasy paranoia above is restricted to football.

Mr Angry Even the Football League Show on Saturday was, er, muted about us.

Ok, they started with Legs' goal to win us promotion, but I would have thought the natural narrative would have been to show our game v Palace first, which would lead to the Saints game, their loss and then the fact that meant we were Champions.

Instead, they first went into the Saints game (with the classic line about "West Ham have a real chance now of getting 2nd!!" ), followed by our goals and Roberts' red card, and the merest of nods in our direction as to us winning the Championship; as Manish put "I suppose you have to say well done to Reading....."

Good riddance to a crap programme.

Ditto this.. thought the same and that they would have maybe kept a camera crew at the Madjeski with the players in case it went our way.. It did and not a bean to show the celebration.. rubbish... burn the TVL....sack Shep the dog!!

M-U-R-T-Y Wonder if we'll see any more pitch invasions on Saturday. Brizzle had one for being slightly less shit than three other teams, so maybe if Middlesbrough sneak in the play offs we'll see a couple of fans (literally) mob their squad at the Riverside.

They may have trouble finding them at the riverside they are away at Watford..

On 5 Live just now they said it'll be the West Ham game if they win tonight, otherwise Cardiff.

West Ham win. There goes our chances of being on the telly. Surely it'll be West Ham vs Hull / So'ton vs Coventry?

Remember last time. Every position had been sorted going in to the final day. Who was going up down and who was in the play offs. The only thing left was to see if we could break the football league record points haul. Sky with two games to show had on teams in the play offs?

If Southampton draw on the final day and West Ham win but score four more goals than the Saints, their records would be identical. This would bring about a special play-off, in which the winner would secure promotion while the loser would enter the regular play-offs.

This sounds brilliant.

Except that Saints have the better head to head record which would see them finish 2nd. Media aren't even researching West Ham and Saints properly.

Just been changed on BBC..
