I love Kevin doyle, good work rate and great attitude. He'll always be a Reading legend. People are talking some nonsense over his ability though, he's a good prem player. However, the problem with him is he has a history of long periods without scoring....and at crucial times and this is what really is concerning, in in his good seasons he would go what 6/7 games without a goal at least, or 1 in 10,etc You can't really afford that in the prem and it was also why we failed to go up in the first season back down here. Doyle would be great as a second striker to someone who can score 15-20 goals a season in the prem as he'll most likely chip in with 10 or so, thats a good return. however banking on him as your main scorer is not going to work.
