I would say that looks a bit tricky although I guess most decent young Senegalese have been creamed off by France... or the UAE :o

is football at the Olympics really necessary ? i mean its the only reason i watch the Olympics but its quality is seriously lacking with other 'major' events on the football calender.

The Olympics is at the forefront for embracing different cultures in a sporting environment. Not sure Suarez would like that.

Uruguay, eek

Reckon they'll play Cavani but not Suarez. Looking forward to seeing the likes of Lodeiro though

Is that why John Terry isn't in the GB squad?

Gutted North Korean team didn't qualify in the men's tournament, although the women did.

Same Mr A. GB have to be runners up in their group for this to happen.

I'll be at Uruguay vs Senegal / GB vs UAE too. OLOLympics.

I went last night to the test event (final men's qualifier) at the Ricoh. Senegal beat Oman 2-0, dear Mr Webb was ref! Organisation was a shambles, but that is what test events are for, I suppose! As for the games, I'm going back to the Ricoh for Japan v Honduras and Senegal (again!) v UAE double header. I'm also going to the Mens semi at OT, which is likely to be Spain v Uraguay/Team GB...but of course as we all know, football tournaments usually throw up some surprises!

I'm also going to the double header of Japan v Canada, Sweden v S.Africa, at the Ricoh in the Womens. I'm pleased to be seeing the World Champions in the first game!

Just a pedantic note; no-one will be going to the Ricoh.

As the Olympics don't allow branding, you will be going to the City of Coventry Stadium.

I know, it made me laugh last night that all the branding has been covered up apart from the massive RICOH letters on the roof of the stadium! Cover them up Seb!

Give a shit about this quite frankly.

Euro 2012 is for football, it has no place at the Olympics

Apparently Sralex is up in arms again with another selection for the Olympics.

Peter Waterfield is injured and Ashley Young has been called up to partner Tom Daley.

Not for some considerable time, I'm afraid.

Amateur rules were ditched in the 90's
