Platypuss Bet they're actually getting quite excited at the thought of their name being splashed all over the "best" league in the world next season. Incidentally how many clubs in the PL are sponsored by a solidly British brand like Waitrose and aren't a betting firm?

Einstein agogo Way back in the day , I used to have to make the odd trip to Leeds , to a company that were right behind Elland Road , In those days there was no maps or Sat iNavs so I used to find the place by looking out for the Elland Road Flood lights. One day the fcukers decided to install some kind of "in-roof" lighting and I got totally lost the next time I went up.
Ever since then I get a bit cross when-ever Leeds are mentioned

He was manager I think. It was reported he took the team down a coal mine the monday after to show them where they would be working if they played like that again.

Waitrose signed a new two-year sponsorship with Reading in December 2010, which will include the team's 2012/13 season in the Premier League.

Platypuss For future reference:

Unless we added in a clause to hike the rates in the event of promotion to the Prem, it looks like Waitrose will have done very well out of this!
