Guys, as I have already posted on numerous occasions this meeting DID occur on Monday. Assuming the financials work for both parties then this deal will be concluded.

unfounded =/= made up. And there is a lot of made up stuff on here by people desperate for a bit of attention. If Camberley is right, he'll get chalked up as reliable like Fridays Legacy and a couple of others. Until then, he'll be treated with suspicion, particularly given the stuff he's coming up with seems pretty weak.

unfounded- without foundation
rumour-information, often a mixture of truth and untruth,
gossip-casual and idle chat

it makes me laugh that someone posts something on this forum, and people pipe up saying ooo yeah, but there is no foundation to that, i reckon there is more than a little untruth in what you are saying, this chat is clearly both casual and idle.

I wasn't commenting on the rumour itself. Just making an observation on the number of newbies appearing posting rumours......

So that is a big fail for you there.

Just checked the player out and he will be 25 this month (always thought he was younger).
Two significant factors:-
He comes from Oxford so he is local(ish)
Most importantly he played for Slough Town and we know who is well connected with that team.
That's enough for me to think that he will be joining us as well as being a decent player.

Mike Hunt Formulating the next lie?

Sorry CR, until your info is proven correct (like Friday's Legacy and gazza, loyal royal) you will get much the same as this.

What I really meant was...

Ian Royal If Camberley is right, he'll get chalked up as reliable like Fridays Legacy and a couple of others. Until then, he'll be treated with suspicion, particularly given the stuff he's coming up with seems pretty weak.

Such a word smith Ian...

The Twitter comment was quite harsh. Anyway, interesting reading on the Forest forum about this.

lol, i like this comment on the Forest board

Never get in the Reading team, they are way too good for him.

They are also cash rich and have the opportunity to buy big and experienced players.

Is the new owner after the likes of GMac? I doubt it.

If you are correct I will eat my Reading hat.

As a sequel to my previous post - (maybe I should start a new thread) - at what point does one cease to be a 'newbie' and become an 'oldbie' or possibly a 'veteranbie' is it based on the number of replies or the length of time since joining? or possibly even the amount of royalty points?...the distance one lives from the stadium could be a deciding factor... just interested!!
