If Swansea seriously only offered 4M for a player who has showed PL potential when Hoffenheim paid 7M for him you really have to laugh at them.

Come on Anton - pay whatever is needed and make yourself a hero to the fans. We want our Gylfi back!

Its prob never going to happen and im warming to Anton already due to his sheer excitement at games but if he wanted our true love very quickly he can buy it. Its name is the sig.

Lets face it we're still not really sure how much money this guy has, personally, within the family and connections. Im guessing he knows gylf is one of us and he knows how good he is. Brian must of put him at the top of the "would love to have" list.

Go on Anton.

Big money is often big risk, but there is no risk with Sig. We know he's good, we know he can play well for us and we know there is no question about settling or fitting in.

There is no gamble. Surely we are going to at least make an offer!

What if, for whatever reason, TSI didn't takeover though. If Anton buys Gylfi now - we could be landed with having to pay the money back. Surely we can't buy anyone or put in any offers - until we KNOW for 100% certain that the takeover is going ahead. Isn't it meant to be sorted by the end of this week??

I can only imagine this list of players Brian wants that he has given to Anton must have 'Gylfi' written at the top in massive writing and underlined multiple times..

We have the money from tv coming in, if we buy Gylfi now and the takeover doesn't happen we're still getting cash in, and his value won't depreciate. One season with us in the Premiership and I have no doubt we could double our money provided we stay up. The issue here is whether bigger clubs will come in and outbid us or offer more attractive prospects like Europe and trophies

Don't be silly. If the deal falls through, you really expect us to be paying Anton back for Kebe, McDermott and Roberts etc?

The deals fine.

The money already spent is not a loan, we don't have to pay it back.

Shows very good intent.

I honestly think all is fine, we got promoted and now have to go back a few spaces and speak to the premier league rather than football league.

He is probably trying to be as clear as possible with his money without disclosing every last detail due to tax reasons.

HoneyRoastHoax Swansea offered £4m!! http://www.walesonline.co.uk/footballna ... -30897619/ are you actually having a laugh!!

oxf*rd me,its easily double that, did they really think they would get him quick with an offer of £4m!

If thats what they're doing they won't get him.

Smacks of consolation bid to keep the fans happy.

Swansea haven't even got their own training ground and get changed in the local sports centre........so the chances of them being able to afford £10m is slim

The money already spent is a loan, at a cheap rate. I am sure everything will be fine. If the deal doesn't go through the loan might be made into a gift..... but then again it might not.

Tbf if we buy him now for £8-£10m, and disaster strikes, we could easily sell him again for £12m+ after a full season in the prem.

Don't you think Anton could personally buy him, then give him to us as a present? He seems like that kinda guy.
