southbank1871 How can you really dislike United much more than City?

My hatred of Utd is deep-rooted and long-term.

I'd rather see anyone win the title than them.

I'm firmly in the couldn't-give-a-fuck-either-way camp. Hate 'em both.

No Fixed Abode
Ian Royal
No Fixed Abode Reading fans see it as an accident. Chelsea fans don't. If the roles were reversed and it was, say Drogba who cracked Hahnemans skull, don't think for one minute Reading fans wouldn't boo Drogba....

Like I said, it's a shame, but people are the same everywhere.

Chelsea fans see it as not an accident because they're retarded. No other reason.

And Chelsea fans think Reading fans are retarded.

Strange most Chelsea fans come from Reading.

Looks like the battle for fifth is going to end in heroic failure for Chelsea, 6th it is.

Seriously? Even if you have a deep-rooted hatred, like I do, I still prefer they win it instead of those arab-buy-them-all's ManCity, I mean they just vacuum the market for every footballer on the planet, it disgusts me. It is financial doping, they should be relegated to the umpteenth division.

You seem to have conveniently forgotten that those tactics are exactly the same as used by Man Utd to get where they are now.

With you FFC. Manure have had 2 to 3 decades of unchallenged financial power. Now they have Chelski and Man City to deal with, the whining starts.

ANYBODY but United!

You seem to have a hatred for all clubs and all things.
So what about if our Russian turns out to be a mega spender and we end up eating at the top table of the Premier League-would you then give up on Reading?
What about when Reading were the lower leagues biggest spenders did you give up for a few seasons until we became relatively poor?

Am I the only one thinking a 7/8 goal win for United today could make things difficult. Please God, no.

An interesting take on the manager's job at Chelsea raised this morning on Talksport.
The view (contrary to that in the Press recently) was that Di Matteo's case would be strengthened if Chelsea LOST against Bayern Munich.
That would mean no Champs League place next season for Chelsea (it will be funny that they will now probably have to put up with the "Thursday night channel 5 " chant that their fans have loved dishing out recently)so the club would have difficulty attracting a top manager because they would not want to manage a club outside of the Champs League.
I'm sure the little matter of a substantial salary and contract term might still prove attractive but I thought it was an interesting take on things.

Smart move by Di Matteo resting Cech and Drogba.
