The Football league Show

by Binfield Royal » 07 May 2012 11:50

For the last 4 years (at least) I have had this set to record on Sky Plus (other DVRs are available) and would watch on Sunday morning as well as watch MOTD. Most often, we only got 10-20 seconds but I still watched.

I deleted the last programme without watching it (no Championship) and having thought about it, I wont be recording it going forwards unless they start featuring Reading again (hopefully not Anton...)

Just wondering whether anyone will still be watching TFLS next season and why?

BBC have scrapped it from next season so we won't be on it again anyway.

Thought they weren't showing Live games? But Manish and TFLS still remained?

Yeah I'll watch or record it as i'll pretty much watch any football. If I had the time I'd watch a pub match on a Sunday morning.

I'll probably tape it, like MOTD, and fast forward through the inane and factually incorrect punditory unless Reading have won. then I will paw over every syllable of the pundits output.

I will hopefully never have the displeasure of watching this show again! Presenters have a serious lack of footballing knowledge and even when we were 2nd we got 30seconds.
I am told however: If BBC axe it, the show will be moved back to ITV (Pukka Pies, don't compromise)

Ill watch it if informed of an incident to watch or a wonder goal otherwise no need to. (Potentially also if poultery makes the pitch).

I would have still watched it, except Hereford got releg8ed to the Conference on Saturday, so they won't be on it either.

Up early most Sundays anyway...will continue to watch the looped re-runs on freeview 301....its been a decent watch (as was its ITV predecessor)

Hate the MOTD Premier love-fest, hate the Talk-Squawk big four incessent ramblings (they could be talking about Barnet and they still end-up turning the conversation to Chelsea, Citeh, Utd or Rzzzznal at the earliest opportunity)....love lower league coverage.

Whilst I may have to adjust my sights, for next season at least, watching the goals from Accrington versus Burton tend to entertain me more, than the "yet again" extended highlights from th bridge, trafford, wastelands etc etc
