McCleary's agent has upset Forest by saying the player wants £15k a week. He's knocked back a new contract there, which we already knew. Sounds about the going rate for a PL team to take him on I imagine. I don't think that would put us off, and I'd also be surprised if a few of our players aren't on that or more now their payrises kick in (Kebe, Roberts for just two).

Although if he's a dick I don't want us to sign him.

Brian is always saying that he looks for players attitude and mental abilities as part of the package. I hope now we up we don't change from this ethos!?

Went into Monks for a few drinks earlier and happened to bump into Garath and Nicky Hammond finalising the contract.

If this is true then I'm worried about the drinking culture that we have at our club.

Forest supporting mate doesn't reckon he's consistent enough to be a starter. Good in patches (e.g. Elland Rd), but goes off the boil a lot.

Maybe we can rotate him with Kebe and between the two of them we'll get 38 on form games?!

Yeah Forest fans said he came good for 2 months but very inconsistent otherwise. But clearly has potential and a keen eye for goal. Not bad for a free transfer.

Looks like we're about to land our first signing of the season! Hes had a medical and now just needs to agree talks between him and the club! Great buy maybe get Gunter in on a free too as he is out of contract play them both down the right hand side of our team !
