Birmingham City have offered Reading £2m for Simon Church.

it amazes me how many other clubs fans think he's good! Hammond needs to act and soon!

I don't rate him all that highly but I can see him really playing well with a player like Chris Burke behind him.

Brum are under a transfer embargo at the mo, so won't be signing anyone for the forseeable.

Reading have lost interest in Notts Forest right back Chris Gunter, after the club rejected a £2.5m offer.

Forest have asked for £3m. Neither Reading or Swansea will meet it, with the defender a free transfer in 11 months time.

Reading have also submitted a £3.5m offer to Huddersfield for striker Jordan Rhodes. Reading central defender Sean Morrison, valued at £1.5m will join Huddersfield as part of the deal, bring the total of the move to £5m plus add-ons.
