What a comeback from City.

18 wins and a draw in their 19 home games

Top marks to the BBC for ending their coverage before the trophy presentation.

Deadlock
TBM Away from the top 2 - hats off to David Moyes...........completely turned Everton around, securing a 7th place finish and Europe next season

Surely not ... Top four CL, then Newcastle for the League, Chelsea for the FA Cup, and Liverpool for the League Cup.

If Chelsea go on to win the CL, Spurs will get their Europa League place instead.

Oh yeah, i forgot Chelsea didn't finish top 4

Still, a good season

Who gets the Inter Toto Cup spot?

TBM This has got to be probably the best final day ever

Michael Thomas v Liverpool looking small fry now compared to this.

Quite incredible end to the season.

TBM Who gets the Inter Toto Cup spot?

No-one, it was abolished after 2008.

WOW. And THAT is why I am a football fan.

Was in a local pub that was pretty much 50/50 Man-U/City except for the few of us sporting LFC, Wolves and RFC tops.

Really? Not for anyone who watched Anfield '89 as an adult (and not as a Liverpool fan).

Having said that, the fact that there were relegation and titles on the line and so on make today a very very memorable finale. Agreed.

Barton really was the one to help City, not just for th red card. The time it took to get him off added to the extra couple of minutes lol

Nothing will top the end of the '89 season - there is nothing like a last minute goal to break Scouse hearts.

Stranded
Ian Royal Ferguson extremely gracious and dignified in defeat, I thought. Only one very slightly bitter hint at 5 minutes of added time. Gone up in my estimations a bit there I think.

Got his dig in before passing on his congrats, thru very gritted teeth. Didn't seem overly gracious to me.

I was expecting far worse than one reference to injury time. He didn't seem that bothered to me and said they deserved it.

Pretty ungracious and bitter IMHO, first comments are that city only won due to the red card and excessive injury time

I thought for sure City had choked...and then.

I guess I am happier that City won cos I am tired of all the hubris from Utd and their fans and City's manager is from where my family came from, but then again how can I be pumped about City winning it by spending a billion pounds. But it was all very entertaining...and my paisans Mancini and Balotelli came out draped in Italian flags. :D

Shame about Bolton tho...would have much prefered them staying up instead of QPR. :(

And Barton is an idiot, but no revelation there...

Anyone else see Cisse celebrating with one of the City players after? Just kind of looked wrong to me. I guess he doesn't care, he won't be at QPR next season. Just seemed odd.

Quite surprised many Reading fans revelling in City's title win. You don't like teams who 'buy' titles.

Massive kantradicktion!
