Is that just a bad photo, or is she really that plain? Can't see the attraction myself.

Eyes are OK I suppose, but the lips are surely out of a collagen syringe.

facaldaqui
soggy biscuit Jermain Pennant arrested and charged with drink driving, driving while disqualified and driving with no insurance after crashing into another car.

Without football clubs mollycoddling their assets like him these people would be screwed. I predict Pennant will be dead within 5 years of retiring.

This is why I disagree with the advice to do things the Stoke way in the premier; I don't want us signing the Woodgate and Pennant types of human being.

We signed stack before he was cleared...

No we didn't.

We signed him on loan and then completed it when he was acquitted. If he hadn't of got off we wouldn't have signed him.

We had him on the book while waiting for trial. For me it was a mistake to touch him with a lucky stick.
So as you say we signed him on loan because we weren't sure of an innocent verdict. It was an error... but hopefully a one off.

Mmmmm.... that is certainly the principle. But you wouldn't apply it to a suspected paedophile teacher would you? And if we were confident we would have signed him up before trial.

I guess my moral stance is that footballers are role models and need to be squeaky clean. Any tarnish and they should be avoided.
I am even cynical enough to suspect that some players are found to be not guilty because of who they are... certainly surprised at the number who have escaped jail over the years.
Also a bit surprised at the terminology used towards women by some posters...

My word Ray.

Ray Wilkins on drink-driving charge

Mr Wilkins was pulled over by police near his Surrey home Former England, Chelsea and Manchester United star Ray Wilkins has been charged with drink-driving.

The Sky TV football pundit was pulled over near his home in Cobham, Surrey, in the early hours of Monday and arrested, according to Surrey Police.

Mr Wilkins, 55, who is a former coach at Chelsea, was questioned at Reigate police station and charged.

He was released on bail to appear at North Surrey Magistrates' Court on 21 May.

The former midfielder won 84 caps for England and played for a number of clubs including AC Milan and Queens Park Rangers during a career that spanned three decades from the 1970s.

Mr Wilkins also had spells at Rangers and Hibernian.

He was the first England player to be sent off during a World Cup finals when he received the only red card of his career against Morocco in Monterey, Mexico, in 1986.

In 1993 he was awarded an MBE for services to football.

He managed QPR and Fulham in the mid-1990s before two spells as Chelsea's assistant coach, helping Gianluca Vialli in 1999 and 2000, then rejoining in September 2008.

In November 2010 Chelsea announced they would not be renewing his contract.

A spokeswoman for Surrey Police said: "Ray Wilkins... was arrested in Fairmile Lane, Cobham, around 01:50 BST on Monday.

"He was interviewed at Reigate police station before being charged and bailed."

If it gets you to the nearest burger van then to the shop for cigs without being caught then yes, it is worth it. 8)

Just an eight week suspended sentence for Pennant, who was twice the legal limit when he drove home from a nightclub having already been disqualified from driving.

Aha, that's what having already been disqualified from driving meant, thanks for clearing that up.

He was banned from driving for having too many points. This is the second time he's been caught drink driving while being disqualified from driving.

Don't know why I bother paying out for insurance & not having a few beers before I drive home,
seems I've got at least a couple of good goes at it before I'm in the sh*t.
