Looks like a child has written that as part of his GCSE's.

Yay!

Looks like a younger, stronger, better finisher than McAnuff. Although seemed to mostly play on the right. Very happy with him to push Jobi and Jimmy.

+1 - what you do on Tilehurst End is very good. Please ignore the idiots who have to criticise everything.

Being a local boy as well, it's the stuff that dreams are made of. I can't wait to pull the Reading shirt on and prove what I can do.

From Oxford, but supporting the right team! :D

A shrewd signing which has cost nothing.

Only seen videos of the lad but he looks to have a lot of potential. As Brian has said he is very, very quick and that is a massive plus in the PL.

I think he will be a great signing and with no signing on fee to pay its a win/win situation. No brainer.

Welcome Garath, looking forward to seeing you next season tear up defenses. :D

There's almost always a signing on fee for the player. :|

After reading this back, I knew someone would say this. I meant a transfer fee to the club (Forest).

I appreciate because of this he has got higher wages than he may have got if we had signed him for £500,000 for example.

And I would imagine he got a "bonus" for choosing us over others!!

I'm gonna hang out at the Hotel reception over the summer and maybe see other potential signings/players talk business and contracts etc. (Still shocked at it being dealt with like that!?)

Kingsley Junior "It's amazing to be at a club like Reading" - Garath McCleary.

I know Forest have fallen considerably over the years, but it is still nice to hear a guy leaving a club that previously won the European Cup twice say it is amazing to be at Reading. Welcome on board!

Agreed.

Thinking about it, is this the first time we've bought an up and coming star from one of the top two divisions? We've signed them from lower leagues (Kitson, Le Fondre etc) and we've signed top names on their way down (Roberts, Ferdinand etc). But I can't remember a top, up & coming player coming to us?

(Prepares to be embarrassed by a blindingly obvious name!)

not going back thru 17 pages on this, pleased with the signing but a little sceptical, 9 goals this season in with 4 came in one game hardly makes him prolific.

Now do you believe?
I am probably talking utter rubbish, it may have been Mario Balotelli and they would not have been seen in the hotel anyway!
