Simple is the goal, something he's working towards.

I don't know what some of you people think happens when the Premier League do their fit and proper person test. Reading some of the comments you would think that a file is handed to someone in a back office who has a quick scan of it and sticks a rubber stamp on it.

The reality is that the Premier League hand all documents and files over to lawyers.

The upshot of that is, as anyone who has dealt with lawyers will know, is that they want to earn their corn - hourly rates - and spend an inordinate amount of time ostensibly looking into every aspect of the takeover.

The other reality of this is that whenever you involve lawyers or regulatory bodies in any type of litigation, dispute or otherwise, the relevant person will always find something which delays the process, whether that delay be relevant or not, to justify either their fee or position in the particular scenario.

So let's have some context here, this is what is happening, there has been no real leak to suggest that there is any particular problem other than that a lengthy due process is taking place. In other words, chillax a bit.

Is anything at all happening? NO, well we signed one player, with a serious knee-injury, on a free transfer

Royal Lady So, basically, NO ONE KNOWS - but they make out they do. Thanks for that.

Considering Friday's Legacy has been spot on at least twice with things on TSI before they went public, that puts paid to your impatient comment above. Not to mention gazzer, loyal royal who is also very reliable.

So there are some voices on here worth listening to. There are also some that just like the sound of their own voice. They're the worst kind.

Ideal Have we spent any money on transfers? NO
How can they spend money on transfers until the takeover actually goes through?

They need until 2013 to pay the £12M 50% takeover fee - what does that say about their cash reserves?
It says nothing.

Have they paid JM yet? My guess, NO!
Why would they pay him until the takeover gets ratified? :|

Will they pass a FAPP test? My guess, NO - probably because no money in bank account
Your guess is worth fcuk all

Are we starting construction on stadium expansion? NO, probably because of no money
LOL

Is anything at all happening? NO, well we signed one player, with a serious knee-injury, on a free transfer
That's one more player than most teams.

Is it "next week" this week, next week, or the week after or the week after that?

Genuine question. I am not sure what the definition of "next week" is.

AFAIK he suffered some knee injury this season after being tackled by that Leeds-thug Brown, who also did Jem's ankle in.
Might be cause for concern long term.

Youre thinking about the kid from Barnsley, Butterfield

Ideal You are the ones who can't seem to see the wood for the trees, yet you claim I am simple?

Warning lights should be flashing, sirens should be whaling, with a big neon sign saying: "SOMETHING COULD BE WRONG HERE!!!?"

Yet the only thing you people are capable of coming up with, is new ways to hurl abuse at me for pointing this out.
Perhaps you should stick your heads in the sand, or lay down on the ground and play dead? Or any other similar way of responding, becoming of your intellectual level.

Hurr durrr, da takeovah is a kommin, hurr durr, I'mma get me sum watamellons, hurr durrrrr, takovah is grrreeattttttttt, we gonna be havvin lodsamonni, we can bi anyoone novv.

I am actually embarrassed for you.

Who really buys players in May?

Noone said the stadium would be expanded this summer

You're guessing as to whether they have paid SJM

Youre'e guessing as to whether they have money, they would be the best liars in the world to get this far if they didn't.

You're either a poor WUM or simple - im going for simple.

So, you want to try again to come up with some ARGUMENTS that back up YOUR side of the argument?
oh, that's right, this was your attempt at one. Maybe you should apply for MENSA.

My argument is that you don't have an argument. You have conjecture.

Agreed.

Ideal, why are we supposed to be scared by a long post periodically punctuated by "my guess... my guess.."?

It's just a load of uninformed and baseless conjecture.

...which supposedly we are supposed to forge a counter argument against, using only conjecture.

Er, it's not true Ideal because the national lottery will be won by a big purple nipple which will squirt milk into the mouths of hungry Russia, leading the government to install a teet-tax which pulls the soviets out of the recession and plunges Boris and Anton into credit.

Its pretty simple really; either the deal doesn't go through, enabling Ideal and a few others to basically spend the next 2 or 3 Years posting variations of "I told you so", or it does go through, enabling Ideal and a few others to basically spend the next 2 or 3 Years posting variations of "its all going to end in tears, mark my words!"

Oddly, these things aren't done at the convenience of the fans; at some point in the future, it will either be announced that it has happened, or that it has fallen through

Until then, why doesn't everyone simply calm down to a panic?
