Swansea City have confirmed that they have agreed the permanent signing of midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson, subject to a medical.
The Swans have finalised terms with the 22-year-old after a £6.8m offer was accepted by Germany side Hoffenheim and Sigurdsson is expected to undergo a medical this week.
Good work BigMike, good work
Still not a done deal .. Wouldnt be the first player to have gone for a medical and have decided on another club prior to signing a contract. I agree the chances do see slim however theres stil a chance
I really hope you're right BigMike. You're right it wouldn't be the first time deals have fallen through. Im just more worried as its not like hes not known to them. He already plays for them so if no one else comes in and it all hinges on a medical i can't see it failing.
Also its up to him if he would accept any other offers. He is on record saying that he was very unhappy in Germany he has been happy in Wales. He was also happy at Reading however he may have the same view as several other players that you should never go back.. Time will tell
