Drew_3 Does anyone not think that if Rodgers does go to Liverpool it's more likely that they will be the ones making an 11th hour bid for the player who shall remain annonymous!?

Here's hoping the most talented player we've had in recent history returns home.

Swansea forum in meltdown reminds me of the Watford fans when he joined us.

Now to snatch Gylfi while their attention is diverted

How come Martin Petrov isn't being talked about ? I think he's out of contract. Wages too high ?
I think he would be excellent. Maybe he doesn't pass Brian's FAPPT

Was going to post that but despite nearly 2000 users it hasn't crashed. Sort HNA? out Hobnob!

They're definitely panicking about Gylfi not signing.

I know. It's all pretty farfetched, but I can't help but think!

Reading and Swansea bid for GS. GS makes decision based on BR. BR f/cks off. GS switches decision to us.

Liverpool ain't made an offer, so it's not like he can wait based on conjecture. Liverpool might not let BR buy Sig. Or they might take a long time. Or he might want someone else given a bigger budget. Or or or. "Hold on, just turn down all these good offers mate - tell your boss to sit tight! I'll get a bid together for you in a couple of weeks!"

No chance. It's us VS Swansea, and Swansea have just lost a big pull.

You don't think Rodgers will have Siggy's number and will say hold off for one second i'm still coming to get you... It's not Football Manager you know.

Consider for a moment that Liverpool also get van Gaal to be the DoF...and he will be the one approving any signings, I wouldn't think it's as cut and dried that Liverpool would be after Gylfi...nor would any transfer list of players be anything other than 'pie in the sky' for them at the moment.

EDIT: Scrap that, Liverpool aren't appoint a DoF now. Cock.

I said that, titwank.

Firstly, that would be tapping up. Secondly, how the oxf*rd does he know Pool will want Gylfi, or that he would want Gylfi at Pool? Thirdly, neither Sig nor Hoff are going to go "oh right, yah we will wait because the man did a promise! 6-7m? No thankings! We wait here by phone for nice man to call in a few weeks!"

Hoff have two offers on the table (possibly. In my dream, anyway) and one just got worse for the player.

blueroyals Who say's it's a transfer? Could be something related to the possible stadium expansion next year. Usually the club tend to push the text message alerts before a signing. Interesting that the official site has quietened down recently - usually we would have interviews with BmcD and Hammond about transfers. Maybe they are in a certain country that likes beer and sausages trying to strike a deal...

Scotland?...what they doin' up there?

I've only just clocked this chat on here... Got some work done this morning, but unlikely to do much more, even if I am sceptical. I mean we can't go through the whole summer with someone saying each day that a 'something big is about to happen' can we?
