blueroyals Who say's it's a transfer? Could be something related to the possible stadium expansion next year. Usually the club tend to push the text message alerts before a signing. Interesting that the official site has quietened down recently - usually we would have interviews with BmcD and Hammond about transfers. Maybe they are in a certain country that likes beer and sausages trying to strike a deal...

Scotland?...what they doin' up there?

For talks with Jonathan Hayes who has just been released by Inverness. He is the ex-Royal we are signing AICMFP.

Nice try.

Ginger Ninjas Aberdeen have signed Jonny Hayes on a two-year deal after he left Inverness at the end of the season.

He's scored 23 in 85 games for Caley, according to wikipedia, pretty good going for a winger.

Have to feel sorry for Swansea! We know only to well what it's like to lose a manager that has bought success to the club only to have themstab us in the back and leave when things are going so well.

Personally my sympathies are arrrre arrrrree... Ah fcuk it            .

Would people really be happy with being Gylfi's backup plan?

If this isn't Gylfi there will be rage on the board - I reckon even if we signed Messi instead there would still be rage on the board....

This is probably true.

I can barely think of another plausible signing that won't have me sobbing in disappointment.

Oh well.

Swansea were the only team that bid for him. Perhaps we were waiting for the TSI deal to go through before submitting our bid. Perhaps we've not bid for him at all.

Friday's Legacy on Twitter Not sure who. NOT my source, but one saying Bertrand & the other believes it's Long - But I can't confirm either at the moment.

If this was happening, and we did get him as a back-up plan, how long do we realistically think we could keep him? Plus, if he's not amazing immediately (which is possible because of the way we play) th press will crucify McD.

Ok.

I suppose Ryan Betrand would be really decent signing. Really impressive in the CL final, lots of time to improve, and we need strengthening at LB (regardless of how Harte plays, we need another player there).

I'd be over the moon with any of those which are being rumoured.

Gylfi - Can't see it no matter how hard i try. Really don't think we are interested.
Long - Not sure about this, I would hope we have more ambition. Happy we cashed in when we did.
Bertrand - Would be a good signing

Can't think of any signings that would leave me

That wouldn't make the board go into over drive. Maybe mass suicide. :|
