Because you haven't claimed anyone. Fridays legacy claims bid has been made for Sig. If its someone else and Fordham comes out and says that player is signing then surely its his exclusive.

He is a cut n paste but you can't dilly dally about being all cloak and dagger, wait for us to sign someone then claim thats who you were hinting at!

Yeah come on BigMike, time to nail your colours to the mast. In danger of appearing 'kes' like with his kit 'options'

Self important 'could scupper deal' claims don't count for shit...

Who's it gonna be....?

Apologies if I've missed this somewhere in the above but....

According to the EP today, no deal has been agreed between Swansea and Hoffenheim. Helgar Tromp the Hoffenheim spokesman has said "Gylfi is a player with a regular contract in Hoffenheim and we expect him to be back in training on June 18"

Ergo he is available for Liverpool, Swansea and Reading to try for him if correct

I dont see how posting a name on here will put the deal in doubt....

Whoever the player is, his agent/club will make sure other teams are aware - to get themselves a better deal

Spot on. It's a small world, if someone's available then it's known, as is the bidding process.

Huw Jenkins said he's optimistic that the Swansea deal for Gylfi would be completed next week but he didn't sound very convincing and admitted that Gylfi decided to go on holiday before completing the deal. Swansea fans aren't optimistic and believe we've come in for him.

You may think that me not posting the name on here wont scupper the deal but what it will do is scupper my chances of getting more info from my contact.

All I can say is things are moving along very nicely at the moment. Things are being done professionally as they would always be by Reading and as for being Kes like... I would suspect that if this was a wind up his little pea brain couldnt have dreamt it up. Far too complex and far too many other people have spoken on the dealings of TSI for this to be a wind up

I'm sure it would only take a few hours to complete the medical and sign some papers, yet he decides to take off for a random holiday? Surely this holiday would have been known to Swansea, and they would have factored it in when they said the deal would be completed "later this week". Obviously the deal has fallen through.

The end of the day, why would someone potentially fall out with a contact at the club by revealing their source to a load of faceless knobs like those who grace this board?
