blueroyals I'm sure it would only take a few hours to complete the medical and sign some papers, yet he decides to take off for a random holiday? Surely this holiday would have been known to Swansea, and they would have factored it in when they said the deal would be completed "later this week". Obviously the deal has fallen through.

Hoffenheim went mad at Swansea for dealing via the press.. they dont like that .. They do not have to sell to Swansea they have no obligation to they may have verbally accepted the offer but if theres nothing in writing then they can pull out when they wish

You Believe what you want...

In the mean time I will just wait and live in the knowledge that The club record deal will happen

Mike, could you tell me when this is likely to be completed as I need to get some work done?

sandman It's Leo Roget.

We've finished at least second in every season he's been involved with, so I'd be happy with this.

Big Foot The end of the day, why would someone potentially fall out with a contact at the club by revealing their source to a load of faceless knobs like those who grace this board?

Really? After all the info (alleged) that has already been given? Would a name make a difference?

because it puts their contact's job at risk?

Tbf to Big Mike he has given tidbits of info but not actually come out and said who it is - it's the rest of us (me) who are presuming it's Gylfi - therefore, if he DOES sign, Big Mike's source is kept nameless and Big Mike hasn't actually given away the name of the player.

If it gets to end of Transfer window and we haven't signed a player who would cause us to go into meltdown, then you are welcome to join me in the mass shoeing of Big Mike.
