M-U-R-T-Y I now know who it is.

I think 99% of us know who it is m8!

I'm in the 1%.

Just say it, if you know.

As to Big Mike not wanting to burn his contact, I'm pretty sure such a contact would already be pissed off with Big Mike coming on here.

Due to the latest content of this thread should it now be placed in the Unfounded Rumours or Guesses section?

Just got back from the stadium. I didn't see McDermott talking to any players in the bar.

However, when I returned to my car an old chap stepped out of the car next to me who looked remarkable like Frank Lampard Senior. Though when I looked again it definitely wasn't. So all in all, not the most fruitful spying mission but I'm sure you'll all agree that even this is more satisfying information than the little bits of insider knowledge bigmike is currently drip feeding us.

Yeah! F*ck you, bigmike. Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck you!

Royal Lady
Spirit of Elm Park
Big Foot The end of the day, why would someone potentially fall out with a contact at the club by revealing their source to a load of faceless knobs like those who grace this board?

Really? After all the info (alleged) that has already been given? Would a name make a difference?

Tbf to Big Mike he has given tidbits of info but not actually come out and said who it is - it's the rest of us (me) who are presuming it's Gylfi - therefore, if he DOES sign, Big Mike's source is kept nameless and Big Mike hasn't actually given away the name of the player.

If it gets to end of Transfer window and we haven't signed a player who would cause us to go into meltdown, then you are welcome to join me in the mass shoeing of Big Mike.

Big Mike (iirc) did say before his meltdown comment, that we were tabling an offer for Gylfi, back when he said the TSI deal would go ahead on Monday / Tuesday. He has since said that things are going well for us to sign a player who will cause a board meltdown.

It may all be a wind-up, but if Gylfi signs, BigMike has dropped enough to show he was more ITK about this one than anyone else on here. That or unbelievably lucky.

I have not confirmed anyone ... How can Fordham claim it as an exclusive?? Cut N Paste Hack

Because you haven't claimed anyone. Fridays legacy claims bid has been made for Sig. If its someone else and Fordham comes out and says that player is signing then surely its his exclusive.

He is a cut n paste but you can't dilly dally about being all cloak and dagger, wait for us to sign someone then claim thats who you were hinting at!

Fair enough ..

Can I still go kick his doors in ?

Oh ill be there holding a can of beer for you in celebration mate! Just wish you'd give us a bigger clue.

Was it colonel mustard?

Typical Fordham article. Paragraphs and paragraphs of text saying absolutely nothing.

"However, Royals will be keeping a close eye on the deal, with fans desperate to see the midfielder return to Madejski Stadium."

I don't know how Fordham could've got this impression...

Long long trip back home. Taxi, bus, plane, train, bus and another bus and finally a taxi. Good to be home with the family.
