Doyler Just been reported on SSN that we had a £2m bid rejected.

Not true, had a fee agreed for a while - expecting him to move but as he's away at the moment and not a priority for either club its not sorted yet

All signs point to that not being true.

Watford observer doesn't think it was rejected, but is hedging it's bets

Not a fake but I did have to edit it to tone down his language.

Yes. Supposed to be just over £2.5m. Two different sources told me that. One of which will be pea's.

you don`t suppose that clubs are now upping their asking fees in the light of our take over?

LOL at you taking him seriously! You fell for that like Stewie fell for the dimension of fake portraiture!

All very funny though, well done

They haven't upped the price. Fee is agreed as of a couple of weeks ago, as mentioned before.

i've got 2 watford fans at work, both seem to know their stuff when watford is concerned. (smith not turning up to sign for us and heading to pompey, mcanuff coming here). our bid was accepted all but a month ago. the chatta about fees being rejected is nothing but a smoke screen. this will be done next week. defo-facto.

shoot me dead if it don't happen.

I don't understand why there's a so called smoke screen? He has one year left on his contract doesn't he? So a £2.5m ish fee would surely be seen as good business rather than lose him for nothing in a year?

As I said before, we were waiting for him to come back from his holidays and then we can tie this up, as long as no-one comes in at the eleventh hour.

"Although it is being reported the bid has been rejected, we understand this may not be the case.

The offer for the Hornets Player of the Season is believed to include add-ons."

i agree, but as your retweet above shows, that's what my friends said it was too. i agree tho that £2.5 or whatever it is is great business considering, but perhaps the fans wont like seeing another key player sold.
