I don't necessarily agree with LUX that you are the guilty party. A lot of what you have posted makes sense but very few of the posters having a go at Liverpool are very interested in that, and all your coming back to the pond continually actually achieves is that you are making it very easy for people to get this atrocity of a thread to 100 pages.

I've never had any problems following two teams and the greatest result in Reading's history is IMHO when we beat Liverpool a couple of years back. Seems to be the prerogative of a few to create something that doesn't exist, it's utterly pathetic.

What continues to amaze me is how many people on here want their say about a northern football club with which they have no affiliation.
There are no such topics about clubs nearer to home like Spurs or Arsenal.
I suppose deep down the posters realise that Liverpool is a giant in world football that has been undergoing difficult times.
I wonder what it would have been like in pre-internet days when clubs like Man Utd and Spurs were getting relegated if the keyboard warriors had been around rather than (in most cases)just a twinkle or prospect in their mothers' eyes.

This is an open forum and despite the stupidity of some who are fixated on whether people are rattled we do occasionally have the odd reasonable debate under this and other topics and once upon a time (now long gone) there was an element of humour.

I suppose also "reasonably polite" in the sense that we take the time and trouble to reply to most postings even if the replies themselves are not always polite.
BTW I quite like the appointment of Rodgers and will be very pleased if Gylfi follows especially as it seems that RFC haven't tried very hard to get him back.
