LUX He has a point, Cmonurz. This Liverpool stuff is tedious, VM is also guilty, which is a shame..
What subject should be discussed on this thread then?

We are in the same League, FFS. Hope we piss on them.
No, he doesn't have a point at all, just another faceless moron with a keyboard. Apparently my 'crime' this time is not detesting Rodgers. Fwiw a few pages back I posted that it was a strange appointment that didn't fit Rodgers or Liverpool, but never mind that.
I've never had any problems following two teams and the greatest result in Reading's history is IMHO when we beat Liverpool a couple of years back. Seems to be the prerogative of a few to create something that doesn't exist, it's utterly pathetic.

LUX As an afterthought, I cannot understand at all how anyone can support two teams, especially in the same division. Such things piss me off.
There, an honest,if fallible, reply.

Victor Meldrew What continues to amaze me is how many people on here want their say about a northern football club with which they have no affiliation.
There are no such topics about clubs nearer to home like Spurs or Arsenal.
I suppose deep down the posters realise that Liverpool is a giant in world football that has been undergoing difficult times.

Victor Meldrew Now it is like some courtroom drama where some thickos demand to know on what grounds cmonurz or me very dare to post on a topic in which we have a vested interest.

Now that is rattled.
Chelsea gener8 a lot of very nasty comments on here , probably the most, and there is an "Arsenalol" thread. Not difficult to find anti- Man U stuff too. West Ham as well.
Liverpool are nothing special.

Royal Rother The only reason Liverpool seem to attract more interest than other clubs is because there are 2 intelligent people prepared to reply to each and every question / barb posted about the club.
Arsenal might attract similar attention but Spacey's imbecilic ramblings kill any intelligent debate stone cold dead.
by LUX » 03 Jun 2012 20:38
Victor Meldrew I suppose also "reasonably polite" in the sense that we take the time and trouble to reply to most postings even if the replies themselves are not always polite.
