Reading v Derby 85/86
Reading v Doncaster 85/86
Reading v Forest 87/88 (Simod Cup)
Reading v Coventry 87/88 (Simod Cup)

Also have Exeter City 4 Reading 6 from 93/94. Bought it from ECFC.

i have that too - did you go? mental game - 4-1 at Ht, then 4-4, then 6-4 to royals but could have been 12-12

Yes; and I predicted the score beforehand. Terminal Boarders can confirms this. Without doubt, the craziest game ever and what a strike by Jimmy Quinn for the fifth.

I was there. Really good away end bounce for the 5th goal as well.

I have the Norwich game from 2003 I think. Also got that game filmed from Wembley in 1995, but never watched it since as its too painful. I remember is that the opening was a dance track called The Bomb. Also at 2-0, being given a penalty, and going fvcking mad thinking we'd made it... before that happened :(

Remember it well. A fantastic day out with all emotions on display!

Were you singing "You might as well go home" at half time with it 4-1 as well then?

Don't remember that specifically. Do remember flicking the V's at some particularly leary group of home fans on the RHS when the 6th went in!

Simon SheppaROFLd. Cracking find. Remember only too well the single worst keeper I have ever seen charging out of his box for that Derby equaliser, the first moment which planted a seed of doubt in this 13 year old's mind. Doubt was completely replaced by certainty after the unforgiveable collision with Wdowczyk.

You've got to feel for the keeper that gets hit on the leg by a rebound off the bar in mid-dive.

Not strictly Reading footage but the link is more than tenuous - former Reading captain Graeme Murty doing what he almost never did for us - scoring for York City against Everton, and former Reading loanee Michael Branch doing the opposite.

Murts goal if you don't want to sift through the rest of the match. Great game though.

Excellent find! I was there for both games so a great bit of nostalgia. That collosion effectively ended Dariusz's career with us; it looks as bad now as it did at the time. Funny how our play-off hangover only kicked in after about 10 games or so - the opposite of this year!

You've also re-written my memory banks because I thought Geordie scored the 3rd, but he only set it up

Also Mr Barass playing at the back; another RFC link.

A bit unfair on Murts because we all know he was injured shortly after we signed him and unless I'm mistaken never played on the wing for us when he did play about 15 years later

Indeed he did. In fact, here's some Old Trafford footage from the previous season, a game in which Murty played and Barras scored:- Manchester Utd 0-3 York City.

That can't be Old Trafford, it's almost empty
