what a load of shIt. Greece showed some bollocks today. I'd be surprised if England had that in them.

Would that be the rubbish Greece side that only conceded 5 goals in qualifying?

Mind you, I'm surprised they didn't start the Group with a points deduction cos they are in administration....

Everyone else ignored superreadingfan's post because he was simply looking for a reaction, and that was incredibly obvious. It's what he does. leon bit for some reason, and that is a bit disappointing.

I thought the Russian game last night was really good. If Arshavin decides to play like that in other games in the tourament they will have a real chance.

And lol at Pav being on the bench. He has to start the next game.

Dutch taking the game at a stroll and creating openings, but very tame finishing. Denmark clinical with the limited chance they got. Ha-HA.

I think Denmark deserve this lead now. The Dutch are looking utterly unconvincing in front of goal IMO. Create as many chances as you like, you've still got to hit the target and beat the keeper. Denmark stroking around nicely now and look dangerous playing some decent stuff.

Denmark played their way into that half - looked half asleep for a lot of it.

Holland are great going forward but they can't defend to save their lives. Denmark can really get at them by overlapping down the flanks IMHO, not convinced there's enough protection for the back four, nor do I think the Dutch work hard enough.

RvP, Robben, Affelay, Schneider - all proper footballers but they won't win the competition until they learn how to defend.#

Gr8 dummy for the goal.

Germans making some uncharacteristic unforced errors and trying to force it with neat passes through a crowded centre. Falling a little into the Dutch mistake of being too casual and confident that they'll inevitably take the lead eventually.

Seriously? Are any of the top nations capable of taking a chance this tournament!?
