He is a genuine agent. I just can't see us spending what will apparently be in excess of £10m for anyone (yet).

All it takes is Hammond to phone a players agent and ask if there would be any interest in their player coming to Reading. If no then fair enough it didn't cost anything to try, but you never know one 'big name' player might be persuaded. This rumour along with Krasic, Cole and Defoe are likely to be from us just enquiring, no harm in doing that
