Wheres this Spurs nonsense appeared from? They don't have a manager currently, so he is NOT going there as it stands. The reason he didn't complete his move to Swansea was because Rodgers left and they didnt have a manager. Gylfi is going to want to play, i'm sure he doesnt want another Hoffenheim scenario. It's all down to the talks now, In Zingarevich and McDermott I trust.

Bookies don't know where loyalty lies and where he's likely to get more playing time. The more money people lump on the bigger clubs and the fact their 'bigger clubs' the more favourite they're going to be.

I can't believe there are that many actually 'ITK' punters; certainly not enough to drive the odds down unless they bet huge money.

At the risk of going all 'Coppell's parking space' on the situation, I would encourage as many Reading fans as possible to let Gylfi know just how highly we regard him. His twitter is @OfficialGylfi 

It appears we may be offering him more money however the one thing we can be sure of is that we have sentiment in our favour. He had a great spell at Reading and left with a heavy heart, if we can play with those emotions then fingers crossed he may be swayed. Worth a shot anyway!

The Spurs link is genuine. Apparently the new Spurs manager, although not announced yet is pushing hard for the club to sign Sigurdsson and Vertonghen and has even spoken to both players. Its still a 3 horse race though - 3 offers on the table.
