New information!!!!

1. Sadly I have been told Reading are out of the race to sign Sigurdsson. The club has been notified of this and has withdrawn from the race.

2. Gylfi has not agreed to join Spurs

3. Spurs have the best offer but Liverpool has a big appeal because of BR and could raise their offer this week.

Its down to Spurs and Liverpool now.

I don't want to be a party pooper (not sure what they are in Iceland) but the BBC posted their story 10 minutes before IclandicStokie posted this.
In the current "can't trust anyone" theme, I'm just casting a bit of doubt.
I agree that this poster has been very, very good in the past, so I'm not casting them as a typical "ITK", just wondering how they could have any different info than the BBC (which seems to be getting the story from the same Bild source) - probably agent based.

If Gylfi's Dad went on radio this morning saying no decision, do we really expect he was lying?

Unless JF has developed some credibility over night, I really wouldn't put too much faith in that report. GS was on our radar as soon as the takeover was ratified. Brian did speak to Sigurdsson, as did Anton and Brian together. Of course none of that can be proved, and as usual no matter what track-records go before anyone, doubters will doubt, but I stand by that 100%. It'll be interesting if he gets direct quotes from the club or not. He said tonight he's been 'asking around' and 'doing some digging'.
