Blakey's Right Peg Is that the Mirror article that talks about our highly-rated director of football Nick Hameed?

Wizard No, actually I am serious. Ian Harte will be fine and I was impressed with Mills last season so he is more than adequate cover. Roberts, Hunt, Church and Le Fondre will score goals, with Jobi, Jimmy, McCleary Leigertwood and Karacan chipping in. Cummings is a solid right back, with Nick Arnold apparently a very good understudy. Michael Hector and Angus MacDonald are highly rated by the club, and in addition to Sean Morrison should back up our centre halves no problem. Lawton D'ath and Jake Taylor will provide the creativity desired.

Genuinely don't think we need any more players to stay up.

The Mirror article has a direct quote from Brian McD saying we have signed the Pog, so we can relax. It is going to happen as long as we get the papers through.

:| Nick Arnold who's never played a professional match in his life, MacDonald who couldn't get into the Torquay side, none of the others mentioned following Arnold have started a game above League One level

Though I do remember him giving it the bigun in the press about revenge before the game at Upton Park. Then totally bottling it when the pressure was on.

One of many reasons why that victory was the most satisfying in recent years.

I think it is safe to say that Pog is a done deal. All the stuff about problems with the medical etc was just lots more Wumming by the ITK brigade - who are now pretty much all completely discredited.

I can't work out if Wiz is on a wind-up, or if he's a genuine spacktard.

It was when he said "Church" that I realised he was a tease.

Emmer Green Royal Deal confirmed here and elsewhere

As far as I'm concerned, I don't believe it's real until it's on the OS and we see the photo of him holding the shirt.

Understood, but it's McDermott talking about the deal, not the Daily Mail or Big Mike.
