Ive been reading this forum for years and trusted all the ITK posters, I was gutted to see that FatMike was pulling our legs, Gylfi coming back was all I could think about for weeks.

Now I dont know what or who to trust and Ill take everything anyone says with a pinch of salt from now on.

That was the point .. Some of the people who claim that they are ITK are actually full of shit. I think they have now been exposed.. They have to me . And for those who believed the rumour you shouldnt believe 99.99999% of the stuff on this forum. It used to have ITK people on it however after the 1st season in the premiership it became riddled with kids claiming to be ITK and dicks who skew stats to try and look great. I remember when the stats that were put on here were interesting and correct.

The whole Gylfi thread should be a lesson to us all.

I was so unsure how it had all got out of hand that I have skimmed through most of it again and no on comes out of it well.

The Big Mike thing is amazing. He built credibility with a post on 28 May in which he said the TSI deal would go through the next day and implied that once it had TSI's main target would be Gylfi. As he was 100% accurate about TSI it is hardly surprising that people thought he was ITK - rather than just making a lucky guess.

Then you have FL. In the early part of the thread he says there is no chance of Gylfi coming back and RFC had shown no interest. Then after Big Mike's comments he about turned and suddenly started talking up our chances - although being very careful to play them down at the same time. A few other ITK's made cryptic posts backing up the two main conspirators.

So the lessons to learn are that Jonny Fordham is the most ITK ITK and sadly he is not very ITK. All the other ITK's know very little at all and the majority of us were just gullible because we were so desperate to get back the one potential world class player that RFC have produced to date. I will always feel cheated that we did not see Gylfi in a Reading shirt for just one more season. He was always destined for greater things but he played for us too little.

I am still hoping that Man Unt come in for him at the last minute as that would be a so much better option for him than either Liverpool or Spurs. But sadly we will never see him in an RFC shirt again.

And there's the problem - I can't post an opinion without it being confused for something I've been told and chosen to pass on. I said right at the beginning of that thread that he had outgrown Reading. What division were we in at the time; did we expect to go up; weren't we then talking about a loan; did we even imagine this level of ambition from Anton Zingarevich? Don't confuse opinion with something I decided to pass on. I don't mind being criticised for getting something wrong etc, but most of my contributions on here are personal opinion. It really shouldn't be too hard to distinguish from the two.

This thread is a complete joke. Whether or not people are ITK doesn't really fooking matter? After all, it won't effect when or who we sign!

For all those hanging on the words of certain posters, then they are nothing but sad information whores and need to grow. Even if certain people are ITK, doesn't mean they will get everything right as a lot can happen behind closed doors that we will not be made aware of.

If you got taken in by Bigmike, then congrats you are a fooking mongtard. If you got disappointed when something that gazza or FL didn't happen, once again, congrats you a a fooking Mongtard.

Occasionally they get new info that they can share.
They say they get info which they can't share, but who cares about that? That info is effectively BS unless shared.

Apart from the occasional nuggets that drop into the hands of HNA? posters, all we will get is informed gossip.

I welcome the fact that those bothered to trawl the stories digest it for me.
I wish they didn't claim to be so much ITK as they do, as it's just not true, but I appreciate their contributions just the same.

To be fair, I'd say that problem you describe is just the outcome of the way you've gone about delivering your ITK information and running around the board kind of showing it off, whilst also having numerous pops at Fordham for not running his mouth off at the first opportunity he gets.

As I've said before, the information that makes it out of the club to twitter and the internet is largely snippets of office gossip and a bit of working knowledge in some cases (those that really know first hand don't tend to leak it to general punters).

I get some info which I don't pass on because it's not ground breaking stuff and a lot of it's on here in various forms anyway. You do seem to have a pretty decent source on some things, but I would say you state everything you hear as fact, and chop down any other variations of those facts as wrong because it's not what you've heard (ie the Mariappa bid rejection which I'd heard was right when you were saying it was a club smokescreen - which is right I don't really know of course). Taking that tone is a double edged sword.
